Shipping Policy – Skandinest

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you purchase from Skandinest (β€œwe”, β€œour”, β€œus”).
We ship exclusively within the Nordic region: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.


1. Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

If we experience high order volume or delays, customers will be notified by email.


2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We currently offer:

Standard Shipping

  • Estimated delivery time: 2–3 business days from dispatch.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on destination country.
  • All orders are shipped from Sweden.

Express shipping is not yet activated.


3. Shipping Fees

  • Shipping rates are country-based.
  • Any free shipping promotions will be displayed on the website.
  • All shipping fees are calculated at checkout; they do not appear in this policy.

4. Tracking Information

A tracking number is provided for every order once it has been dispatched.
Tracking availability may vary depending on the destination country and chosen carrier.


5. Customs & Duties (for Norway)

For countries outside the EU customs union, customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance fees that may apply upon delivery.

These charges are not included in product or shipping prices.


6. Lost or Delayed Packages

If a package is lost during transit, our courier partners bear responsibility under their service terms.
We will assist in filing claims but do not refund until the claim is confirmed by the courier.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • customs processing
  • courier backlogs
  • incorrect customer information

7. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
If an order cannot be delivered due to:

  • incorrect or incomplete address
  • customer not being available
  • refusal to accept delivery

any re-delivery charges or return shipping costs will be invoiced to the customer.


8. Damaged Items on Arrival

If an item arrives damaged, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@skandinest.com.

To process the claim, we require:

  • order number
  • clear photos of the damaged item
  • photos of the packaging (if relevant)

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.


9. Pre-Orders

We offer pre-orders on selected items.
If an item is marked as pre-order:

  • shipping will occur once the item is in stock
  • estimated dispatch dates will be visible on the product page
  • if your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, we may ship them together unless otherwise stated

10. Delivery Confirmation

Once an order is marked as Delivered by the courier, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer.
